At first I had no idea whatsoever what to do for this, but then I realized that a really obvious item - specifically a flower that has already been around for FOUR EXISTING BOOKS in the series - had all the details in the world, but they were never actually cataloged in one convenient file. Then in the process of doing that, it got me thinking about the old ideas associated with it in a fresh light.

"Immortal amaranth, a flower which once
In paradise, fast by the tree of life,
Began to bloom; but soon for man's offence
To heaven removed, where first it grew, there grows,
And flowers aloft, shading the fount of life"
- Milton, Paradise Lost
