A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
Amy You are right. The purpose, I think, is to get into the habit of writing everyday! There are over achievers in this group that need to go full steam ahead and get it done while the thoughts are flowing (probably don't work or have families to tend to 24/7 or are anal about being first or top) This is NOT as SPRINT but a marathon. I got antsy when I saw all these people posting last year with 50K by the 15of the month. I thought something was wrong that I did my 2k each day and had to miss some days because of obligations. I got my count and story done at the end of the month on the 29 in spite of the fact I lost 2K not saving. I thought I had and hit not save instead (I was tired) and had to do it all over again. DO not compare yourself to ANYONE else. They may be like the hare and the turtle. You may be the one that gets it done and published before they do. Taking time each day to think, write, add notes(in the word count) for later is what will make you a better writer and keep you moving toward the goal!! You can do it! we are all here right beside you working, taking care of kids and dogs. I will be in Chicago Nov 1-4 at a trade show, then with my daughter, I will have to work on writing at night. It is what it is. MY GOAL ![]() Tina Weaver 50K in 30 days encouragement welcome ** Image ID #1634119 Unavailable ** |
