Round Closed, and Special September Round

Looks like we have 8 lovely entries this round. Thank you to everyone who participated! Winners will be announced by the Fifteenth of September.

In the meantime, please look to our September Prompt for something a bit different:

"The Scribes" Open in new Window. ask that you write a story about their terrifying origins. How did they come by the Keys of Terror? What is the mystery behind the Lady in White? What rituals, sacrifices, or torturous methods were enacted that led a mere writer of horror to become the formless shadow that is a Scribe?

This round is special, because the winners will be announced and inducted into "The Scribes" Open in new Window. during our Scream Awards Ceremony on Halloween Night! In addition, as you noticed, there will be multiple winners this round, although one story will be set above the rest as the official winner, who will receive all the benefits of Scribehood along with the Tales of Terror Grand Prize.
