Welcome to Writing.com and well done for reviewing straight away! GP's are basically the site's virtual currency - kind of like having game "credits" You can use them for anything from sending a virtual "award" to another member, to actually buying physical things like sweaters and mugs in the WDC gift shop! Some people mostly collect GP's from doing things around the site like reviewing and taking part in competitions and others (like me lol) tend to buy them in exchange for real moolah . Or you can do a bit of both!
