Weekly Goals

Goals beginning in small steps. Though I have taught writing to high school and college age students for many years, I have not done much with fiction. In my retirement, I would like to deepen my understanding of the craft of creative writing and possibly write a book or two.

-- Goal 1: Develop one character using fictional writing. Create a name, individual physical characteristics, quirks, lifestyle, etc. Write using words of description and power. Be specific yet creative not wordy. Focus on 300 to 600 words.
