Under Construction - MHWA Retreat

Disappearing after a promotion is sort of common around here, love. Just... in general. It happens with mods as well. People do so much... are so active and visible... put in lots of time and effort. Once they get what they wanted, they often take a hiatus. Depends on the person. The only insanely active member who I've ever seen climb fast and then stick around with the same level of activity is Andy~hating university . And if you look through the actual promotions in any given wave, you'll see just how many of them drop off the map.

When I was promoted to mod, I was promoted with tYpO/T.Boilerman (who went mostly inactive right away), Mandy &
PatrickB (who flamed out in a big way within a few months), Marci Missing Everyone (who went relatively inactive fast and then totally inactive I think)...

And me and Elle . Within a year or so, we were the only two highly visible mods in our wave. A pretty decent ratio when you get right down to it.
