So I'm goint to post my Writer's Cramp entry here, because...it might help, and I liked the prompt...A Trio of Unlikely Friends
The sky was clear. The sun was boldly shining. And a fresh layer of snow was everywhere.
Winter, Summer, and Spring sat at one of the many unoccupied tables outside of the cozy cafe minutes away from the State University. Only one of them should have been here, at the most two - Winter turning over the reins to Spring. But the three loved each others company and here in Siberia, and even more so in Tomsk - their home for the time being - they could be themselves.
Summer draped herself over the table half asleep. Winter and Spring spoke heatedly about nothing. They enjoyed jolsting each other, taunting each other and they enjoyed being taunted. Like children in a playfight in which no one loses and no one wins and the game goes on with pauses here to catch one's breath but no end exists.
