I suppose it depends on where we want to put the continuity in, personally I would put the continuity in just before Will gets the Book (ie is still in Blackwell's possession) or after Joe and Frank was able to retrieve the Book. It would then give best possible plot and events to actually mull over as I feel that if it was when the Book is on Will's hand, then it would have a very swift outcome.

I still think that the branch with Karter is the best one in the SB storyline (granted there weren't many) but as Seuzz said himself, it is too OP. I feel that after the baby step on learning the power, there's not really much room for confrontation and growth which I think if the Book is in Blackwell's hands may provide (ie. a storyline where Cindy is taken by David and subsequently crossing patch with Blackwell-in-Lucy) or a run-in with Joe and Frank in Eastman and subsequently found out that the renegade Stellae was 'revived' and is the mastermind behind the experiments at Fort Suffolk or it could be just David against the Stellae, but if that's the case, then I'll put my money on David.
