It's much easier to talk about something than it is to follow through, right? I get so irritated when a famous person commits suicide and then people post all the suicide hotlines everywhere. Like, yeah, preventing suicide is great, but also start within your own inner circle and work your way out from there. It's so easy to copy/paste a list of suicide hotline numbers. It's much harder to actually provide support for a suicidal person or even accept that someone close to you could be having those struggles.
I think workplaces are getting marginally better at accepting that mental health issues are just as valid as physical health issues. A lot of that (at least here in the US) has to do with disability and employment laws as companies don't want to get sued typically. But it has a long way to go, especially on a human-to-human level of just being understood and not being judged.
