As promised (if after a lengthy delay that made "minutes" into "hours"), here's the first chapter of the project I was working on: "A Heartfelt Request" .

You may notice a few things. For one, it doesn't have Will as a protagonist - but then again, does he have to? On the other hand, it's written in third-person perspective, as it introduces the story's main protagonist. It was something I wanted to experiment on, as a way to expand the BoM-verse a bit.

You may have also noticed that it's not on "The Book of Masks", but on "The Wandering Stars". This is done entirely on purpose, for reasons that you'll notice as the chapters pass.

In short, what is this story meant to be? It'll deal with Mireya Guillén, an associate for the Stellae Errantes - and that's as much as I'll say. As the story progresses, you'll see what she does exactly as an associate, and how she got to connect with the organization. You'll also see some characters that rarely see some action, such as John Reilly, who happens to be Mireya's neighbor (of sorts), and some new characters. The first few chapters will deal with - as the title implies - a request that John has made to Mireya, but one that'll eventually change her life.

This story will run for about a month or so, or until Seuzz returns to action - whichever comes first.
