Just an attempt to write more as my motivation has been quite low. I did these two chapters kind of spontaneously and very in the moment, looking around for an area that seemed interesting. That said, I wasn't quite sure how to write the jocks. We know from other stuff in this area that they're largely on the up and up but Will doesn't so I figure it was a good idea to play on that so in this, I think they're hazing him a bit. Maybe not maliciously but there's definitely a jockish mentality of "do this if you want to truly be part of the team."

Elsie was a very spur of the moment thing. It was a name I'd come up with for Student Bodies Redux and the reference photo I'd used had a slightly, beningly manic look so the minute I began writing her, she immediately seemed like someone who'd be a bit flighty and capricious. And then I got to the end and the Lisa comparison became very apparent. Lisa's "dating" of Will, from what I can tell, was a similarly capricious thing on her part but where she danced around the subject and (inadvertantly?) led Will on, Elsie isn't evasive. But with someone flighty, there could always be a risk that they take off just as suddenly.
