Thanks for sending everyone a MB. Here's the GPs for it. I've included the 5k everyone who sent a MB to everyone got, even though you couldn't send one to yourself. lol I have been to over 70 countries, but there are over 200, so there's still plenty more to explore. lol I've not, until recently, explored much of Central or South America. Last year I finally went to Columbia, Peru, and Paraguay. I'd already been to Chile, but I did more there, including going to Easter Island, now called Rapa Nui. I'd previously been to Argentina, but after going to the Falklands, I don't like them as much anymore because they won't relinquish their alleged claim. But I will say, down in Ushuaia, at the bottom of Argentina, that's the only place I'd found a sense of peace since Iraq. I met an Israeli Soldier who told me the same thing, so there must be something special there! I had previously considered becoming an Argentine citizen. It only takes 2 yrs. But you can never give up your Argentine citizenship once you have it, so that sounds bad. I lived in Kardinia as a kid and definitely enjoyed myself. It was so beautiful and the people were friendly. Best of all, the food didn't take much getting used to. Hahaha! I wish I'd started a 2nd citizenship journey there sooner. But now at my age, it's really tough getting a country to let you permanently in. Probably the best I can do, outside of marrying into a country, is to get a permanent residency. I'm looking into that in Belize. I'm going to check it out maybe this Christmas. They allow you to get permanent residency there just based on your monthly income and age, both of which I qualify with. Being a permanent resident isn't as good, but it's better than nothing, I guess. I just want to have a Plan B because I don't trust Russia, China, or North Korea...especially after reading that China had placed a bunch of signal jammers near all our nukes. That's not at all terrifying! Hopefully, they just did it as a precaution and not because they'd planned to do anything, but still, very concerning to me. If they know we can't use ours, they can be a lot more bold with theirs. Hopefully, we found all the jammers and can use them again, but still, it goes to show how serious things can be without our even knowing. There was another thing in the news last year that freaked me out, too, but thanks to the TBI, I don't recall it. Hahaha Anyway, thanks for participating in the MB giveaway!  |
