I've tried changing the left/right adjustment in mid-line, but it always ends up breaking the result across two lines.
A horribly clunky workaround is to use a monospaced font like Courier and forcibly introduce the gap with as many {s} space characters as it takes. The monospacing keeps a consistent right margin across multiple lines.
