I think that depends on the relationship I already have with the person. My own parents kicked me out of my home at 17, I was abused... so I keep my distance, but they aren't completely out of my life.
Now, I've cut plenty of friends out of my life. I cut one friend out because she was too vocal about her transphobia, saying she would disown her daughters if they said they were transgender. I don't really care what someone's political beliefs are, but if your beliefs are assisting in the harm and discrimination against a marginalized group of people, I'll probably block you, especially if we aren't that close.
Mind you, I have also blocked someone out of my life for the opposite reasoning. This was my best friend of ten years. They were a political activist, and it got to a point where they were judging me for still having a relationship with my family because our views didn't align and they put me through a lot of crap. And it got to a point where every conversation revolved around politics.
So, in short, I guess, if I've known you for a really long time and we're close, I'm only cutting you off if you're actively adding more stress than relief to my life.
If I don't know you well? Pfft. Raise your voice at me and I'll block you. lol.
