I received an e-mail from someone questioning my gift points in my contest...they didn't think that they added up with my donations and my beginning balance...which they did...so I detailed it to them and I was probably a little sharp with my reply.
I later discovered in their profile that they said they were a twelve year old. Hummm, had I known earlier I would have been much more pleasant and understanding to my contest being questioned.
It would be nice if their was something indicated, by their name, that they are a child...like a simple check mark or something, so that we know whether to talk with them like a child or an adult.
This would also be a help with how to rate their things...I know a few people here who have their children on the site as well. Because they don't always write as well as an adult they get ratings that are not always fair.
If there was something to indicate that they are minors...then they would probably get rated for their age whether than expected to do remarkable work.
