LOON!!!! YOU'RE BACK!!! I was really starting to miss you meisje! I feel so out of touch with your life, so if you have anything to say about what's new, go ahead!

I can't wait to hear about Chloe, too...Fea, where are you?! I miss you too, you durn flower. I don't want to badger Fea with too many questions, but I can't help myself...I'm so, so curious about everything. People are always getting annoyed at me for it. I wonder if Chloe's labor has started? Actually, I can't say she'll have the baby tomorrow, can I?! That's just her given due date.

Wow! So you and Ta are like real life friends now and you'll see each other again! How far away does she live? Is Scheveningen between A'dam and...where does she live? Leiden? Did you take a train there? What is Scheveningen like? What is Greek food? I have no idea...olives?!

Yeah, I don't know why Barbara was evalutaing me so soon after I started working at Surf! I've been thinking that, too. But I've improved a lot over the last two weeks and I think she's noticed. I've picked up my pace and get things done faster, pay more attention to customers, and make lists for myself of what needs to be done.

I wish I could work in Elk still, but there just aren't enough hours to work there. And in the winter I wouldn't have a job because the cafe is so dead! It really relies on the tourist season.

Loon, is it true that Amsterdamers are so sick of American tourists? Are the tourists everywhere in spring and summer? Probably not in winter, though, huh? I would love to come to Holland this year, because I'm positive that I could get two weeks vacation time from Surf, since it's much less busy then. But it would be so cold and rainy and maybe even snowing, and I'm not used to cold weather...and I really want to see Holland in spring. I'm silly, I know, but I'm a real spring kind of gal.

If I was saving money to just travel, I would stop working at Surf and go straight to Elk instead! But I have to pay for my food, gas, CDs, clothes, books, magazines, and some of my car insurance since my parents don't have a lot of money, and you know, I'm an adult now or something. But I still feel 17, so, whatever!

Whoa -- you went to Turkey again?! Damn, Loon, I can't keep up with you! Soon you'll say, "Did I tell you I flew to the moon?! Yeah, I met this really cute guy there...he was an alien, but..."! I sort of remember you telling us about going back to Turkey. How was the weather? Was it hot? Was it expensive to go there? What city were you in? What airline did you fly on?
