Ooooh. The incident with your grandmother sounds really painful! Do, do tell more, especially if it will help you feel better. Did I tell you about the big fight Cherie and Steve had with his parents when they visited in April? And how I got involved? I've never really fought with any relation outside of my immediate family. I sort of feel like they don't take me seriously enough to warrant an argument! I suppose if I insulted one of them to his/her face I'd get an answer...but I sort of believe that s/he would just go to Cherie or Steve and take it up with them! Ooof. Ageism at its worst! I'm so glad you got my letter! I had worried it was too large and would fall apart in the mail. Ah! I have written your number in my leetle bookie (address book) so I won't forget it. Excellent. I'll call you maybe in a day or two, or after Fourth or July, when you're not busy and have time to talk? How's café work going? Yes, I love Raggle-Taggle Gypsy! I sang it in choir years and years ago and loved it, and I've been searching for a recording of it for years. Just last month a friend from the camp community sent me a mix CD with like three variations of it, in exchange for a knit garment I'm going to make for him as soon as he sends me yarn. Anyway, I adore having a recording in the house! Do you have a recording? I wish I still had the sheet music from when I sang it. It was so beautiful. I should have known then and there that I loved Celtic music; alas, it took me nine more years to discover that fact! I just got a bunch of Celtic CDs from the library. I really should get myself to bed...with my headphones and one of the CDs and my nice cozy murder mystery. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
