Your pistol may not bother the two gargantuan goons before you, but there must be plenty of others that would - aha!

Rooting around some of the garbage deposited in this alleyway, you spot a small cluster of rats. They're fierce creatures now, approaching elephantine size to you, but a good shot ought to startle them, get them running, making a noise to occupy your pursuers while you get away.

It's hardly a challenging shot, either. You take the monster in the back right hip, and it squeaks with a fury that you wouldn't like to see up close, alarming its pack-mates and stirring up quite the commotion.
