Sarna had been walking in the forest for a very long time. The 13 year old girl was exploring an unknown territory, so she was going slowly, looking at everything. Her people the Ilnay lived in the southern mountains of the planet and they never ventured outside their land for there was no reason for it. Their land was generous and provided plenty of food and resourcers, but it also carried one disadvantage to the Ilnay, for they never saw a reason to develop any sort of technology given the fact that life was easy. Unkown to Sarna and all her people, most of the planet was habitated by the Airez, but contrary to their neighbors, the Airez developed an advanced technology over their history, due to the fact that they were very numerous and the resources were limited, contrary to the Ilnay whose society consisted on very few individuals.
Unlike her own people, Sarna was very courious and always wanted to explore, but this time she decided to go further than the last time, beyond the borders of the mountains. The first thing that surprised her was the fact that beyond the mountains the landscape seemed to shrink; The trees, the animal life, the rivers were all toy sized. "I better get back home" she thought when she saw that night was coming. She was about to turn back, when suddendly something caught her attention. There were some small structures that emited some sort of light across a small river. She caressed her long black hair as she stared at the those bright things and then decided to investigate
