“Come on, Jared! Move it!” Drew grumbled as Jared was walking in front of him at a slower pace.
Jared and Drew were strolling back to Drew’s house. They were almost there. Drew was just getting annoyed because Jared was being slow.
“Dude! What’s the matter with you? Why are you walking so slow?”
“I’m tired! I played soccer and basketball and I’m just worn out, dude!” Jared grumbled. “I’m not as athletic as you, okay?”
“Hmm… Yeah… We need to do something about that…” Drew groaned. Drew almost pushed Jared in front of him. He just wished that Jared would hurry it up. He wished Jared could just fly up in the air and just soar until he reached the front door of the house and wait for him….
“Whhhaaaaaahhh!!” Jared suddenly shouted as his entire body started to rise up off the ground. Even though Jared remained vertical, his feet raised up until he was over ten feet in the air. He was floating above the ground and moving rapidly through the air, sailing straight towards the front door of the house as Drew looked on. “DREW! HELP ME! STOP! DO SOMETHING!” Jared screamed as his body just hovered over to the house. Jared had no control over what was happening to him.
“Ohhh. So COOL!” Drew grinned as he jogged behind Jared, keeping his eyes on his friend who was levitating in mid-air. Jared was still floating in the complete vertical position, but his feet were over 10 feet above the ground.
“GO DOWN! PUT ME DOWN! DREW! HELP ME!” Jared was screaming at the top of his lungs.
“Let me try something…. I’ll lower you down a little bit…” Drew said calmly.
Jared’s body descended by a few feet, but it stopped at 3 feet above the ground. Jared remained there, floating just in front of the door.
“DREW! Are YOU doing this?”
“Yeah! I guess… I can make you float… and move you around!” Drew smiled as he began to figure out how his new powers worked.
Drew walked up to the door and he unlocked it with his key. Then, he opened the door and he stepped inside while he held the door wide open. Next, Jared floated to about a foot above the ground and he floated through the entrance until he remained inside of the living room.
“Ahh… I’m getting the hang of this!” Drew grinned.
“Are you gonna put me down?” Jared asked him again while his body just floated in the middle of the living room as he remained in one spot.
“Dude! You said you were tired! I’m making it easy on ya! You don’t even have to WALK! I’ll just float you to wherever you need to go!” Drew grinned as he sat down on the couch. “You wanna sit or do you wanna lie down?”
Jared decided he wasn’t going to fight and argue with Drew about him making him float around the house anymore.
“Ohh…. I just wanna lay down…” Jared yawned.
Jared’s body tilted so that it was now hovering in the horizontal position. He was in fact just lying flat on his stomach while floating on air as his head was turned towards the TV screen. He folded his arms so that he could rest his head on his folded arms.
“See? I knew you would like this!” Drew laughed.
“Okay…. I’ll admit…. Laying down on air and floating above the ground is very comfortable!” Jared admitted calmly.
“See? I’m using my powers to make your life easy, dude!” Drew chuckled.
Drew just sat on the couch and watched TV. He knew that Jared was comfortable because… He dozed off after 5 minutes, sleeping while he was floating around the living room.
Drew later turned off the lights and he went to sleep in his own bedroom.
