“It won’t work,” Robin said, handing it over to her. “I’ve tried it already.”
Starfire hummed to herself as she examined it. “Perhaps it might work were the power turned on?” She stated, showing him a green button on the guns left side. Robin grumbled at being upstaged, but didn’t have time to worry about it, as Starfire pushed the button. The moment she pressed it, there was a loud sharp bang, like a car doing a blow out, and a flash of green energy leapt from the barrel of the gun. Both Starfire and Robin cried out in alarm, as Robin was completely bathed in a bright green glow. There was a low puffing sound, and Robin vanished, leaving behind his clothes, which cropped to the floor, collecting in a neat pile. “Robin?” Stafire blinked in surprise. At first, she thought she’d vaporized him, but her fear quickly subsided when she saw movement coming from the pile of clothes.
“Robin?” She asked, kneeling down, “Are you okay?” Robin finally emerged from the pile of clothes. He was six inches tall, and completely naked. Starfire let out a small gasp. “Robin, you’re… Tiny!”
“No Dur, Starfire,” Robin snapped up at her. “And by the way, nice going! I look like Jiminy Cricket!”
“You look so cute,” Starfire said, getting down on her hands and knees to get a closer look. “So that’s what you look like underneath that mask.”
“Starfire,” Robin grunted, crossing his arms, “Can we stick to the present crises at hand? I’m six inches tall!”
“Presently, I do not see why this is such a bad thing, Robin,” Starfire said. Before Robin had a chance to react, Starfire suddenly swiped out with her right hand, catching him in her fist. She sat up, still on her knees, as she brought Robin closer to her face. She giggled once more. “You look like your puppet version, tiny Robin.”
“Star, cut it out!” Robin snapped, as he tried to free an arm to point at her. He struggled, but Starfire held onto him in a firm, but gentle manor. In the end, he gave up and sagged in her grasp. “Can we at least find a phone to call Gemini Labs,” he asked instead. “They could have a solution to this mess.”
