You move at a fast pace towards the castle, taking the shorter route through the forest. Instead of taking the man made path, which although safer, takes much longer. Knowing the ability of your personal steed, you easily avoided trees, rocks, and other obstacles that crossed your path despite his speed.
He was so used to your weight that he nimbly jumped over wide steams and continued its rush to its destination. However, as you went into the deeper parts of the forest, you hear a second galloping from behind. You turn your head to see the silhouette of a large creature hidden in the shadow of the trees, the shape was unmistakable; it was a Wild Gryphon!
Your heart begins to pound in fright as you urge your steed to run with every ounce of strength, but to no avail. The galloping sound growing louder, closer, until it seemed as if the creature was on top of you, ready to strike. You close your eyes and wait for your death, and then suddenly, it vanished. You look back to see nothing but the trees.
You sigh in relief, both from knowing that the gryphon had given up the chase, and that the edge of the forest was just ahead. You exit out into the sunlight, smiling as you see the Castle. Its grand stone towers a welcome site, but suddenly a great shadow loom over you and your horse. You are suddenly struck by a great weight, knocking you off your steed, you saw only blackness, and the last thing you heard was the sound of your horse whinnying in the pain of death as you pass out.
You awaken after a time, the wetness of blood trickling down your cheek, the wound pouring from your head, soaking into your hair, the lack of blood leaving you to weak to lift your head. Leaving you only to look down, and be amazed to find yourself at a great height, looking down at the landscape bellow. Your arms aching from the grip of the powerful talons holding them as your feet dangled in the air, after recognizing the landscape, you pass out once more...
