This choice: like a regular bar and grill, except for the size of some patrons.... • Go Back...Chapter #4The server in Fattie Patties is big and buxom... by: fat_hiker You shake your head to get rid of these bizarre thoughts, and head into Fattie Pattie's. Inside, it seems like a regular bar and grill, except for the size of some of the patrons - just inside the door is another fat couple, like the ones you saw outside, only bigger! And they're chatting with another couple who both look about 300 pounds.
You pause to let your eyes adjust after the brightness outside, and to look around for a seat, when a women dressed all in black - hefty and stacked, like the woman who winked at you outside - comes up to you and says, "Welcome to Fattie Patties! Looking for a table?"
"Uh, sure," you reply to the server. "I've just moved here, and this place was recommended by the guy at U-Haul..."
"Donnie? Good. I'll have to remember that the next time he comes in - he gets a free side! Are you hungry? Really hungry? Or just peckish?" she continues, as she shows you to a table for one. The table is bigger than you'd expected, and the chair is large, sturdy, and without arms - you think that the 500 pound guy you saw outside would be comfortable in this chair.
"Really hungry," you reply. You've always had a 'good' appetite - that's why you're 230 pounds, well into obesity at only 5'9" - and you've driven all day AND unloaded the truck!
"Good, we like good appetites around here," she smiles warmly. "If you're just moving in, you'll find the whole town likes good appetites. Now, if you like your burgers straight up, then you'll probably like our Double Deluxe - two 8 ounce patties, real cheddar or swiss cheese, bacon, big slice of tomato - but if you want to be a little adventurous, try the Bison Double or the Lamb Double. All burgers come with one side, but extra sides are only a dollar more. I recommend the sweet potato fries, the baked potato, or the latkes, and maybe a cob of corn or the carrots au gratin? I'll give you a minute to decide. Want something to drink first?"
It's been a long day, and you decide... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
