“Roger Smith, do you want to live?”
Looking at Dorothy weakly, Roger managed to give the aloof android his usual roguish smile. Even nearing death, he could remain himself and not succumb to fear or hysteria. It was the telling of a true negotiator, one that could keep their heads even in their final moments. “I can’t say that death is something I’m looking forward to, but unless you got some scuba gear hidden in that tight dress, I think I’m a goner.”
Dorothy stared hard at her employer and only real human companion. What she had to do to save him was very personal and not something she would take lightly. Androids were very particular about letting organic components be put inside of them. New parts and disks were okay, but when you allowed something alive into your body, you were becoming one with it. Dorothy wanted Roger Smith to live, but if she did this, it would be the android equivalent of getting married. One robotic body, holding one human soul.
“You must come inside me, Roger,” Dorothy explained in her normal calm, even voice. She looked totally calm when she said that, but if Roger had been looking closer, he would have noticed her eyes narrowing in timidity. However, once he heard what she said, he slapped his palm against his face in frustration.
“Dorothy! This is no time for your games! If you have a way to save me, say it!” He shouted, having no patience for Dorothy’s games. This was just like the time she told him she loved him and then said she was joking a second later. She loved getting a rise out of him by suggesting she wanted something of his to rise. Maybe he should play along, see how long she wanted to play this game. Who knows, maybe she wanted to give him one last treat before he died.
Dorothy narrowed her eyes in slight anger at the soon to be dying man. “Roger Smith, you are a louse,” she told him in a monotone voice and moved closer towards him. Roger recoiled back when he saw the android moving towards him. She stepped in front of him, her tiny face looking up inches from his. Maybe she really wanted to do it with him, one last moment between them. If she wanted him before he died he wasn’t going to refuse her. A final opportunity to be with the gorgeous robot was something he could not pass up. Bending over, he leveled his face to Dorothy and puckered up, ready to get one last kiss.
Looking disinterested at Roger, Dorothy took a step back just as Roger went for a kiss. Reaching up, she opened her mouth and pointed at it. “I want you to come in here.”
Roger blinked before slowly saying, “You want to give me oral sex?”
“No,” Dorothy firmly said, her pale complexion not changing even as she felt herself get embarrassed on the inside. How could humans be so dense and only think about reproduction? She was trying to save him and all he could think of was sex. “My mouth acts as an entrance to my life support case where my stomach is. I was designed for many things, including a life support system in case of emergency. If you go into my mouth you can get to my stomach where you’ll be safe from drowning and the water pressure.”
“Dorothy, that’s amazing,” Roger gasped, having no idea his android had such a function built in. “Why didn’t you ever tell me about this.”
“You never asked.” Dorothy got a small sense of satisfaction out of the loud groan Roger made at her comment. She wanted him to be relaxed for what she had to do next. Humans could be so fussy about the simplest things and she knew that Roger was going to whine and complain through all of what she had to do.
