A calm moment. Yes, when you told yourself that, however long ago that was now - and the sound and fury of this woman's walking is making time run together - you imagined that it would come soon. Turns out, this woman is going for a continual walk.
Up and down, following the movemtns of her foot and toes as they rise to ungodly heights and slam back down with a force that quakes your bones. Every second.
You can't even get an idea of your surroundings, so busy are you with hugging the base of the sandal close, even though it infuses you with the sweat stench. Each movement of the toes behind you causes you to scream, and you're almost certain that your lungs and throat must be burnt out by now. And the unheeding giantess walks on, no chance of hearing your tiny cries.
This isn't going to be as easy as you imagined it.
Suddenly, all becomes still for a second, and then you are sent hurtling into the air as immense impacts resound all about, even more colossal than the regualr steps. What just happened?
As you revolve in the air, you can see that your friendly lift-giver has collided with another giantess - a stewardess - and both have fallen over, the spectacle not too different from the world ending from your perspective.
Then you're falling back to earth, not knowing where you'll end up.
