"You got it!" You shout in response as you absentmindedly pressed a button before walking towards the platform that Tina was on. You didn't see what number you pressed, but you were sure that it wasn't a big one.
As you stepped onto the platform, you and Tina watch as a beam of light shines down on you from above. Feeling a tingling sensation all over your bodies, you both look at one another as you gasp in shock. Staring back at you is Tina, having gone from a twenty-year-old woman to an eighteen-year-old, before slowly turning into a sixteen-year-old.
"It's working! We're sixteen again!" Tina said with a laugh. The both of you laughed loudly as you saw your bodies changing in reverse.
Suddenly, your laughter slowly begins to die down as you both looked at each other again. Now, the two of you were thirteen-years-old.
"Um, Emma?" Tina's voice squeaked nervously, her voice high pitched as she and you shrank down to eleven. "H-how young did you set the machine to?"
"I... I don't know." You admitted fearfully, your own voice going up a few octaves as you shrank down to nine-years-old. "I wasn't looking! I just pressed a button! I thought it would just take off the number of years."
"You didn't look?!" Tina squeaked, the two of you now six as your clothes hung loose from your bodies. "We got to fix this right - oof!"
Tina went to make a run for the controls, only to trip over her pants that were now around her ankles. As you helped your friend up, the light finally shuts off. As the two of you look at one another again, you both gasp in shock as you see that you both had shrunk down to the age of...
