"So the General said to inspect this sector?" Katt asked no one particular from the cockpit of her Cat's Paw 2.
"Yeah, apparently some of Andross' junk is still lying around down here." Fox explained.
The five ships floated through the endless expanse of Sector Y.
"What type of junk?" Katt asked, curious.
"Apparently some sorf of dimensional portal. It's said to be able to rip rifts between our dimension and another one." Fox explained.
"Yeah, apparently Lucy has gone missing around here after inspecting this area. So now Peppy's worried and he asked the General if we could go on this mission." Falco continued in an annoyed manner.
"What's that?" Krystal asked, indicating a piece of debris floating aimlessly in the sector.
"It looks like one of Andross' old warships..." Fox said, looking at the wreckage.
"I'm picking up weird readings from that ship..." Slippy announced warily.
Suddenly a light shone from inside the ship, in an instant, several tentacles shot out from the debris. One of the tentacles immediately grabbed the nearest ship, which happened to be Katt's.
"IT'S...GOT ME!!!" Katt screamed as her ship was dragged into the floating debris.
The remaining tentacles reached for the next nearest ship, which was Krystal's.
