Chapter #5Damn Ruskies! by: Primus "Let me go! Let me out!!" you cry as the purse closes and you are plunged into darkness. This doesn't stop you from screaming at the top of your lungs however, and the walls of the jar only seem to amplify the sound of your voice.
Finally, after a few moments the purse opens and your jar is pulled out. You now find yourself staring directly into the very annoyed looking, if beautiful face, of your captor. She stares you right in the eye before she opens her mouth and spouts absolute gibberish at you.
Alright, obviously a foreigner; but you quickly decide that you can handle this with grace and dignity.
"What?!" you scream.
The blond haired woman blows air past her lips in an exasperated fashion and you're momentarily glad to be in the jar as it protected you from being blown off her hand.
"Look," she says in English this time though with a thick accent, "girl at your party sold you to me. Now, we return to Mother Russia where scientist will discover secret to your... condition."
You manage to catch a glimpse over her shoulder and realize with building dread that she's at an airport. That's why you were taken from the suitcase. She wants to keep you as 'carry-on.' This is not good.
You realize, with some relief, that she won't just be able to carry you on-board the plain in the jar. Either she'll put you in a pocket and you'll cry out to the first guard that comes close enough, or you'll get x-rayed and security will have a few questions about the jar in her purse that seems to have a tiny living man in it. After all, where else could she put you? With a shudder, you decide that you don't really want to find out.
Besides, you rather get out of this mess before it reaches that point.
"Okay," you start, speaking politely yet somewhat slowly so that she can keep up, "listen to me miss..."
"Irina," she replies, her tone flat. She sounds bored to death with this conversation already.
"Irina," you repeat before continuing on, "I have a family here that will be looking for me and you certainly won't be able to smuggle me past airport security; so why don't you just let me go right now and we'll forget this whole unfortunate event happened. What do you say?"
You are momentarily excited to see that she smiles at your question but your hope begins to sink soon after as the smile grows into a laugh as she shakes her head.
"No, no," she says as you strain to understand what she's saying, "I have been paid a lot of money to retrieve you and we are goings home. Now... where to hide you?" | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
