You figure out that getting home should be more important than personal preferences, so Steve will do nicely. You run over to his feet and start climbing.
While getting onto his boots is rather tough going, climbing up his trousers is no problem as they are made of leather held together with gigantic stitches. You are just the right size to climb the without being seen by anyone. Not that Steve would be paying any attention to anything but his own reflection as he is repairing his battered image. But you are still too slow. Before you can reach the pocket or some other improved hiding place, Steve starts moving, effectively trapping you at your current location. Climbing up or down seems too risky, but as long as you stay where you are, you should have no problem holding on to him.
You can't really figure out what tune he is humming as Steve enters the disco's main area. He stops, obviously checking out the situation. While you are still considering whether you should try to continue climbing up, he starts moving again. Thanks to your higher vantage point, you are able to understand that he is heading for the bar. The noise around you is deafening and being safe doesn't mean being comfortable, as Steve's would- be cool gait just makes you feel sick. Fortunately, the distance he has to walk isn't that long in spite of the fact that he has chosen the bar's opposite end.
As he sits down saying "Feelin' lonely littl' lady?", you are able to see a white skirt on the next seat. Seems to be your lucky day as his prey is to the right side, the one on which you are as well. Moving your eyes upwards, you get to a pink blouse with not too big a bulge in it. Black hair, and that face - not cute, but beautiful none the less. You recognize her as Sandra Miller. She is known to be a bit shy and evasive. You haven't tried to score with her - yet. Seems as if Steve is about to beat you there.
Back to your present situation, you consider your options. While it looked like a good idea in the beginning, following Steve may not be the thing you want to do. For all you know, he could stay here until the next morning, or he may end up at some girl's place. Although the latter needn't be completely disappointing, it would still be of no use for your current problem in size. Maybe you should cancel operation Steve and look for someone else. On the other hand, you have already come that far, you may just as well go along for it. So what's next?
