The once beautiful mermaid is now a strong merman. He reaches over to you and plucks then necklace from you and tosses it on shore. "you certainly won't be needing that anymore. And you won't bee needing that name anymore... I think I'll be using it. You can be Jasmine from here on out."

You go to express outrage but he puts a strong arm on your shoulder. Its not aggressive... at least not yet. He is very strong now though and... angering him may not be best for you. Perhaps you should play along for now until you see an opportunity. Of course he does seem rather overconfident... you might be able to catch him off guard.
