You stood still in place, looking curiously at the young girl who looked somewhat eager at something. "Magnemite, use Flash Cannon!" The girl shouted to the magnet Pokemon. The magnets on it's sides started to charge balls of electricity with it's eye narrowed.
You finally snapped out of your daydream and knew that the girl was probably going to try and catch you. You tried to think of some move that Squirtles knew and finally came up with a move. You opened your mouth and breathed out, leading to a jet of water to propel out of your mouth at the Magnemite.
The Magnemite was splattered in water, but it seemed to not be affected at all as it released it's charged energy at you. You quickly dodged to the side and used another water gun at the Magnemite.It seemed to be somewhat damaged by it this time.
The girl flashed you an irritated look and then commanded, "Magnemite, Explosion!" The Magnemite suddenly started flashing white, which confused you a bit. The Magnemite then exploded in your face, which took you by surprise. Before you knew it, you felt amazing pain and was close to blacking out.
The girl then shouted, "Pokeball, go!" as she threw a red and white sphere at you, which hit you on your forehead and sucked you in. You blacked out almost immediately. When you woke up, you were inside a sphere around the size of you. Your vision suddenly went white as you felt as if you were released from the sphere.
When your vision came back, you saw you were standing in front of the same girl who chucked that Pokeball at you. "Hi, Squirtle, my name is Kiara. I am your new trainer." The girl said cheerfully, reaching for another Pokeball. "Do you want to train, Squirtle?" Kiara asked you, eyes looking directly into yours.
You wondered whether you wanted to train with her or refuse to be her Pokemon.
