Ten minutes later, the phone was still ringing. Still thinking about the 'Deluxe Grill of Kings', his mind drifted to what he'd like to eat. He could grill some burgers, maybe sausages, or a steak - why not two?
Greg hung up and walked through to the kitchen. He opened the freezer and began searching for something tasty. Fortunately, Susan always kept it well stocked. But, before he could select something, the phone started ringing.
Greg went straight to the phone and picked it up. "Hello," said a sweet female voice on the line, "how're ya doing today?"
Greg still wasn't in the best mood, having been kept waiting on the line earlier, and now called away from his search for food. "Who is this?" he asked, abruptly.
"It's Janine calling from the Cooking Channel. You did call a few minutes ago, didn't you?"
Greg agreed that he had.
"We're so sorry for keeping you waiting. We've been having some technical problems. Anyway, I was just calling to apologize, and to see if you were interested in..."
