Kevin looked out over the street from his bedroom window and then he had a thought. How cool would it be if all the boys in his neighborhood suddenly became muscular, for no reason? Especially if the smaller, younger boys grew more than the older, stronger ones? That way, things would even out a bit, right? Kevin made a silent wish, and he felt his power working. He began to wonder what he would see if he were to go outside for a walk, later?
Hugo was a shy, nerdy boy who lived just down the street from Kevin. Hugo was only fourteen, but he looked a bit younger since he was short and very skinny. He was a nerd, and he looked the part since he had dark, curly hair and he wore glasses. He was always reading and studying or doing stuff on the computer. He never played sports and he didn’t have any friends. He was extremely shy, and he often got bullied in school. He was in the seventh grade, and he spent all his free time in the library.
When Hugo got up to go to school, he already started to notice something strange that morning. His arms seemed thicker, and his chest seemed larger. He thought that maybe he had eaten too much the previous evening? His legs also seemed bloated. His clothes felt a little tighter than usual, but he just brushed them off.
As he walked to school, he realized he arrived a few minutes earlier than normal. Did he walk faster than usual? It seemed as if he had more energy that morning. He sat through his math and history classes before he enjoyed his lunch all by himself in the cafeteria. For some reason, he was incredibly hungry, and he asked for seconds. That never happened, and he felt strange. Where did the appetite come from? It was usually just the jocks and the football players who ate that much food.
After lunch, he went to geography and English classes before he took a seat at the table in the library, all the way in the corner so he wouldn’t be bothered. His clothes were very tight.
Mrs. Smith, the librarian, had a box of books which needed to be delivered to the office. She approached Hugo and asked him if he could carry it to the main office for her. He looked over the box and he felt that it appeared too heavy for him. He responded that he would carry the books on two trips.
However, once Hugo tried to lift the box containing the books, he realized that he had enough strength to lift it after all. So, he carried it to the office and returned. He didn’t think anything of it at first. Later, when he entered the boy’s bathroom, he noticed something unusual when he first saw his reflection in the large mirror on the wall.
“What? What’s going on?” Hugo wondered out loud when he saw his own reflection.
His chest was bulging. His arms had become thick and muscular, like they were about to burst out of his long, cotton sleeve shirt. His flat stomach was covered with thick abdominal muscles below the pectorals. And his quads were getting very tight. His jeans were barely able to contain them.
“How? What? Where’s all this muscle coming from?” he asked himself.
Hugo decided to pack up his bag and run home before his clothes ripped apart. His shirt felt very uncomfortable, and his jeans started to tear at the seams. He needed to get home as quickly as possible!
Hugo packed his bag and dashed out the door of the library, running home and arriving at record time. Once inside, he went into his bedroom when his pectorals and arms ripped through his shirt.
RRRRRRRRRIIIPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!
The poor nerd just stood there, which huge biceps sticking out from holes in his shirt sleeve while his pectorals had burst through a large gap in the front of his shirt at the same time!
“What the heck is going on?” Hugo gasped as he tore the rest of the shirt off him.
What he saw then left him flabbergasted.
The nerd had gained MUSCLES! Big, solid, round, bulging muscles! His large pectorals were sticking out from his widened frame as his mighty lats supported them. He now sported a well-defined six-pack while his arms were thick with large biceps and triceps!
“What… How… Huh?” Hugo could only utter, as he stood before the mirror when…
