Smelling the flower

It was going to be the night of the new moon and Inuyasha felt particularly vulnerable. Kagome had a new idea, though. Inuyasha would spend the night in her time.

As Inuyasha and Kagome arrived at the well, Kagome spotted a strange flower. As she and Inuyasha sat on the well, Kagome picked up the flower and began to sniff it.

"It smells so nice, Inuyasha." Kagome said.

Inuyasha said nothing. Kagome shoved the flower up to his nose. "Smell it." She told him.

Inuyasha sighed and sniffed the flower. It smelled different from anything Inuyasha had ever smelled before.
