Anna decides to look through the door. Upon opening it, she discovers a set of stairs that descend into darkness. Figuring that unhelpful thing would be in the obvious places, she pats herself on the back at her ingenuity as she carefully goes down the stairs which lead to the basement.
Despite being under the house, there's enough light getting down there for Anna to make out her surroundings. It has many characteristics of what one might expect from a basement: messy, lots of boxes and ... a garage door? These things could be found in a garage reasons Anna, but aren't I too far underground for any exit out of the house?
Naturally, the old house doesn't have an electric garage door, so after a quick assessment of how it is put together, Anna finds the lock holding it in place. She pulls the bolt, but it is stuck. After rummaging around, she finds a crowbar which she successfully uses to break the entire lock off. Not caring sense it isn't like anyone else is going to be down here, she uses as much strength as she can muster and opens the garage door, which goes up surprisingly easy.
To her amazement, she is blinded by sunlight that floods the basement. Shielding her eyes, Anna walks outside, still absentmindedly holding the crowbar. As her eyes adjust to her surroundings, she finds herself in a desert with a large cage in front of her and people gathered around it. Behind her, the garage entrance is the only evidence of a house.
Someone opens the door to the cage and someone else sneaks up behind Anna and grabs her. Before she can react, the ruffian effortlessly tosses her into the cage. The other person quickly shuts and locks the door behind Anna before she can hope to escape. "Fight," the ruffian tells Anna.
"Fight?" asks Anna, both confused and frightened. She turns around just in time to avoid a hit from the opponent that apparently had already been in the cage. Turning to face him, she gets a good look at the person who took a swing at her. The young adult male has untamed black greasy curly hair. For clothes, all he has is his boxers which makes the blood stains all over his body only more obvious.
"Why do you want to fight me?" asks Anna desperately as she rolls out of the way of the next blow. She had never been much of a fighter, but having always been energetic and active, her speed and reflexes are her allies.
However, the man had been fighting too long to bother engaging in trivial conversation. He anticipates Anna's next dodge, and his efforts earn Anna hard hit to the head, knocking her to the ground. Her head pounds as she attempts to get up, knowing that he is willing and able to hurt her much worse if she is caught with her guard down.
Back on her feet, she realizes that she is still holding the crowbar. Hoping that he will see her as too dangerous to fight, she takes a swing at him, aiming for the arm he seems to always hit with. To her dismay, she misses, and hits him on the side of the head. Blood sprays everywhere as the crowbar crushes in the side of the man's skull and impacts his brain. Without any more movement towards Anna, he collapses.
The people cheer as Anna shouts, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to kill him! I just wanted to scare him!" But no one seems to hear her or even care.
Someone raises their hand, and everyone falls silent. "Now for you to enjoy your spoils." The person points to the bloody mess that Anna was the initiator of. "Feast."
Anna's heart skips a beat. "I beg your pardon."
"Gorge yourself on your victim," says the person "or feel the consequences."
