"Getting too tall? Isn't that an advantage?" You ask.
"Usually, yeah, after you've adapted to your height. I haven't been this tall for long." Kelly responded.
"That's odd, I didn't think people grew as they got older. How old are you?" You ask.
"I'm eighteen, you?" She asked.
"Twenty one. That's weird, I haven't grown since I was like...seventeen." You say. "I wish I could grow a bit more.
"Yeah, it's pretty crazy. My doctors have taken blood tests, CAT scans, and all these other crazy tests and have found nothing." She said.
"Why all that?"
Kelly pulls out her phone, and shows you some pictures. "That's me only a year ago?"
You were confused. "How tall were you then?"
Kelly smiled. "4'2". Crazy eh?"
"Holy crap, you grew 2 feet taller in a year?" You say, loving this conversation more and more.
"Yeah, they don't know what's wrong with me. I keep growing faster and faster, they might need to operate because it might damage my body, but I feel completely fine." She said.
You had to hear more about this. They talked a bit more about other things, but eventually you got her number.
You begin to hang out, and become friends. One day...
