Kitty yawned as she wandered around the room, having thrown her coat over a chair. She was supposed to meet her friend, a nanotechnology graduate who claimed that she had managed to synthesize a new form on nanite. One that change and reshape the body at command. Not exactly the most plausible nor believable.
She shivered under the air-conditioning, her shirt and skirt not quite providing the warmth to stop her from breaking out in goose bumps and cocking her cat ears from side to side.
As she made her way around the tables, gawking at the expensive looking computers and nanotechnology that was laid out like the set of a sci-fi movie, she caught sight of something. A small round candy, the size of a prescription pill, the kind you would see in sweetshop jars. The poor Neko-girl had always suffered from an extreme sweet-tooth and she couldn't resist but hopping over and grabbing the pill, before popping it past her lips and grinning at the sweet flavour.
