Morgan Shrinks Again

Suddenly, the dizziness returned and Morgan instinctively grabbed the side of her head, losing her eyes. Everyone watched as the already small woman shrunk a little bit more.

When the dizziness subsided, Morgan opened her eyes to see the smiling face of her daughter staring down at her. She guessed she shrunk another six inches or so, because the top of her head now only reached Hannah's chin.

"Yay!" Hannah exclaimed. "You're even smaller now. Come upstairs with me."

"Honey, Mommy's not feeling very--" Before Morgan could finish her sentence, her daughter had grabbed her by the arm and was practically dragging her upstairs. The shrunken woman tried to resist, to break free of her daughter's grip, but it was no use. Hannah was too strong for her.

They made it to Hannah's room and the two went inside.

"So," Hannah said to her mother, the excitement in her voice apparent. "What do you want to play first?"

"Look, sweetheart," Morgan began. "You're Mommy's very sick right now. It's not that I don't want to play with you, it's just that now isn't a very good time." She hated to say no to her daughter, especially since she was a few inches shorter than her now, but she felt it was for the best.

"You never have any time to play with me," Hannah said angrily. "All you do is work. You're never around when I need you."

Morgan was taken aback. Before she could respond, however, the dizziness returned and she began shrinking again. When it was over, she was a foot shorter than her daughter.

Morgan sighed in frustration. "So, what game do you want to play?" she asked Hannah.
