Timon watched wide eyed as Pumbaa became even more puffier, looking like a stuffed balloon being filled with air.
"Okay Pumbaa." he said slowly as Pumbaa gave another swell. "Now I know something's wrong. What's happening?"
"I took some pills for my gas problems." the boar replied, nervously watching his crisis. "And I think they are working now. Just in not the way I thought they would."
"What?" said Timon in a moment of incomprehension. "Well, were there any instructions with the pills?"
"Well, I think there were some instructions on the bottle I left near the watering hole." said Pumbaa. "I thought about asking you to read them, but I didn't want to bother you."
Timon rolled his eyes and left. Minutes later, he returned carrying the bottle and noted with worry that Pumbaa's swelling form had begun to round.
"Pumbaa..." he asked, an ominous silence following his inspection of the bottle. "How many pills did you take?"
"Um...all of them."
"Oh, great!" said Timon. "Now you got yourself in serious do-do. Pardoning the pun."
Pumbaa simply gave him a puzzled look and TImon sighed and began read.
"Warning: Do not take all of the pills at once. Side effects include-" And he listed them all off, finally reaching to, "and most dangerously, a building up of the gasses that would not make you stop swelling for days."
"FOR DAYS?!" Pumbaa yelped as his form inflated more. "I can't last days at this rate Timon! If this keeps coming I'm going to explode!"
"Yeah, and bring in the end of the world as we know it." he muttered. Catching his friend's terrified gaze, he said quickly, "Don't worry though, that won't happen. I have a plan."
