Shenzi was getting quite hungry by the time Banzai and Ed returned, and her mood, never good at the best of times, wasn't helped by the fact that they returned without a kill.
"What the hell is wrong with you," Shenzi said, "I told you to go out and get me something."
"Yeah, and we were out there ages," Banzai said, "not every hunt's successful you know."
Shenzi knew she should calm down, and shouldn't blame the others for being successful, but her hunger seemed to have elevated several places, so instead she said, "Why you no good, pathetic little..."
"Pathetic, me," Banzai growled, "take a look at yourself one day, then you'll see pathetic."
Shenzi was silent for a moment, then said, "okay, you just crossed the line," and charged.
Banzai hadn't expected the charge, but he was spoiling for a fight, and he got one. It was quickly over though, Shenzi's bulk made her slow and quick to tire, and she ended up on her back with him pinning her down, "I want an apology."
"You're not getting one," Shenzi replied, and tried to dislodge Banzai, but he didn't budge, and her weight and exhaustion worked against her.
"I want an apology," Banzai repeated, then bent down, "and you're going to give it to me."
