A Growing Problem

Just as Shenzi was getting to the bottom of the trough, she bit into something harder than the meat. Curious she pulled at the object,and found it to some sort of worm, long and white, and leaking some sort of tasty liquid where she'd bitten it. Even more curious now she pulled back, but the worm resisted, so she pulled harder and harder, till finally the worm came free with a 'pop'.

Unbeknownst the Shenzi, the worm was actually a sensor for the trough autofiller, and by pulling it out, she'd ensured that the filler would continue to work indefinitely.

When the Trough began to fill again, Shenzi still had room in her stomach, so she continued to eat, but as the filler was working constantly now, the trough was filling faster than she could eat, and began to spill over the lip onto the floor.

When she was finally full, Shenzi headed for the opposite corner to rest, ignoring the trough as it continued to overflow. As her stomach began to digest the huge meal, it left her torpid, and so she lay down to sleep, not noticing the ever growing puddle of food making its slow was towards her.

Some time later, Shenzi was awoken by a strange feeling on her fur. Still torpid, she turned to see what was going on, and found herself ankle deep in food, and it showed no signs of decreasing.
