The Witch

    by: dtothetwo Author IconMail Icon
Elith was despondent the rest of the day she just stared at the monstrous bat so close to her and cried despairing. Why had she run away from her home? Why hadn't she just gone to school this morning and then none of this would have happened? How could it be that she had such a wonderful day with her love in the beautiful bog this morning and now was imprisoned by a witch awaiting what would surely be a horrible fate?

Her fearful musings were interrupted finally by the bedroom door opening and the witch's return. She was short (by human standards) with long black hair and a rather large nose, she was dressed in black; slacks and a tight sweater that showed off her gorgeous figure.

'Oh so my little prisoner is awake is she?' the witch said out loud in a smoky voice

'Welcome to my humble home fairy. My name is Francine and I will be your doom! ha ha ha!' the witch seemed to take glee in the helplessness of her tiny captive

'Please mighty sorceress release me! I beg of you! I am only a lost little girl who misses her mother so!' Elith cried trying to be brave despite her terror at her enormous jailer

'And what would you do to earn your freedom pray-tell little one?' the witch mocked elith with a grin of sadistic satisfaction

'Would you teach me the secret magicks of the fae? would you become my slave and familiar for a year and a day? Would you reveal to me the location of the hidden fairy city? what is it that you would do to earn your precious freedom?'

the witch seemed excited at each new prospect and now it was Elith's turn to speak but fear made her mouth suddenly dry... could she really do any of those horrible things? even if it meant being free again?
