THe Rheeks look a lot like our spiders... spiders that are around 70 feet long, and more than 40 feet tall, and are covered by black fur with red stripes.
But they actually are quite different from true arachnids, having a dozen legs instead of eight and six red eyes on their heads. But most of all, they're herbivores, and their huge fangs are needed to break the very hard fruits which are their main food. They grab objects either with their fangs, either with the tips of their legs, covered in a sticky substance.
Rheeks live in the immense forests covering their home planet, on trees extending toward the sky for miles and miles, and their homes are webs hanging from the branches, built in an elaborate style... in fact, Rheeks aren't just beasts but instead possess an advanced technology, and even know interstellar travel, though they're mostly interested in it for catching pets on other planets.
Rheeks actually always search for new pets, since they're a peaceful yet mischievous and playful race, always needing new ways to have fun.
