You look at the giant head in front of you, and you see that Miss Talons is a really big bird lady. Her face is covered in big brown feathers, and her beak is thick and really sharp. She looks at you with kind, pretty green eyes, though.
Suddenly, the surface you are standing on starts to move around! You turn around and see four mountains start to fall towards you! You try to run away, but the mountains are far too big for you to go anywhere. You then realize that the mountains are actually fingers, and soon you do not see anything except for very long and very thin lines of light in the sky. You can still hear Miss Talons, though.
"Don't worry, Mikey, I'm just making sure that you do not blow off my hand while I fly to school," your teacher says. Soon, you feel her hand move around a lot again, and this time you also hear loud beating wings. Soon, you also hear a very loud exploding sound, and you wonder what that could be. It is too dark to see anything, but Miss Talons must be moving fast, since you feel yourself being tightly pressed against her scaly palm.
After what must have been forever, you hear another explosion, and you find out that you can stand up again. The mountain-fingers lift up off you, and you are amazed to see a huge building in front of you. It is so big, you are sure that a bazillion million people could fit inside. "Wow!" you cry, "That's the biggest school ever!"
"It's really not that big, actually," says your teacher. As you look at other buildings that are even bigger than the kindergarten, Miss Talons walks through the front doors and towards a super big classroom. You are even more amazed to see even more really big animal people, except that they look like they are your age! All of this hugeness is making you feel very tiny and scared, though, and you do not know if it is a good idea to play with them.
Miss Talons suddenly says something in a much louder voice. "Attention, class, will everyone please sit in a circle? I would like to introduce you all to our new, special student!" All of the really big animal kids stopped what they were doing and obediently sat on the floor in a circle. All of them looked very excited. Suddenly, you feel yourself go way, way down as the teacher sits down in the circle.
"Alright, everyone, please meet our human student. Introduce yourself, Mikey."
Miss Talon's huge hand extended into the middle of the circle. You suddenly feel very nervous to have so many different kinds of huge animal people looking at you. "Um, hello, I'm Mikey," you manage to utter.
"HI, MIKEY!" all of the students yell. You have to cover your ears from the noise. You look at the big group of your 4-mile tall classmates. They are all smiling at you ...
