You try to calm down and assess the situation as you rise through the air. Looking down, you see the castle get smaller and smaller, and realize that indeed, Levice is carrying a very large section of land in his left hand. Pretty soon, you can see the Earth's surface itself, and it is strangely desolate, with many small dots of green and blue separated by vast expanses of bare rock. Obviously, this is so Levice can traverse his kingdom without crushing any of his subjects, but it still seems depressing to you.
Suddenly you are placed on a soft brown surface, and based on the gargantuan eyes that are staring at you, the spot that Levice decided to take you to was the bridge of his muzzle. Levice then dipped his mighty fingers into another landmark, and procured a variety of fruits, which he laid in front of you. "Eat well, new knight, you have deserved it," spoke the king, the sounds rumbling beneath you.
You do as you are told, more because you are afraid to disobey this continent-sized dragon that you are hungry. As you eat, you watch in amazement as Levice slowly places the land he was holding back on the ground. "So, new knight, while you are here, is there anything you'd like to ask your king?"
You have a ton of questions about Levice, but you think it might be more important to know exactly what you're getting into with this knight business. "Well, King Levice, I can't help but wonder why a powerful huge dragon like you needs knights."
"While it may be true that my size has definitely proved useful in the past, I'm afraid that there's not much I can do now against our enemies," replies the king. "They are becoming smarter; they blend in with my loyal subjects and take control from within my territories. Though they surely will not challenge me, I also cannot slay them without harming millions of my own people."
"I get it, you need human knights because they can defeat enemies individually, while you are more suited to defeating entire armies."
"Exactly. But enough about war strategy, now should be a time of celebration for you! You're a knight now, and that is a great achievement! After breakfast, I was thinking that you could show me some of your excellent skills I have heard so much about!"
