They both enter and eating contest.

Britney stood in front a bulletin board staring at the sign up sheet for a eating contest. She couldn't decide whether or not she wanted to enter. The prize being offered was attractive but stuffing her face like this didn't really seem like her thing.
"You can't be serious." Came a familiar voice from behind her.
"Alvin." Britney replied clearly annoyed.
Alvin walked around Britney and grabbed a pencil tied to the bulletin board.
"Don't bother signing up, a prissy girl like you is just going to make yourself sick." Alvin said as he sign up for the contest.
Growled in anger all doubt immediately banished from her mind by her competitive streak.
"Just you wait." Britney said as she signed up herself. "I'm going to win this contest and leave you in the dirt."
