Stale cookies + Jessica = trouble

Jessica waddled back to her desk and opened the box of cookies. She took one bight from one of the Chips Ahoy! and was disgusted with the taste, but swallowed it anyway. "What the heck? These are my favourite!" she said. She looked at the bottom of the box. The expiration date read 'November 18 2008'. The cookies were 3 days stale. "Oh no." Jessica's tummy loved food. But it would reject anything that's even an hour stale. Jessica's stomach began to growl angrily. She began to wrap her arms around her belly in pain. She ran straight to the bathroom. She reached the toilet, bent over, and threw up all the cookies she had ate in the past ten minutes in it.
