Almost immediately, Negi pulled out a book from his pack and started flipping through the pages with haste.
"Did you find anything?" Asuna asked.
Negi continued flipping through the book until he saw a shrinking spell: Decresco Tantus.
"Yes, I think I found it, Asuna-san," Negi replied. "Please stand back."
"Awww, fun time is over...", Konoka pouted, looking annoyed more so than sad.
"Konoka, I can't even believe you had Negi try that spell on you. You know what'll happen if he's found out!!
"Asuna-san, please stand back," Negi told Asuna as he placed his arm in front of her.
Asuna stood a few steps back while Negi held out his staff. Then he chanted,
"Decresco Tantus!"
The wind picked up, then a light flickered from his staff. When the spell was near completion, a leaf blew past Konoka's nose, causing her to sneeze. To her, it was nothing more than a mere sneeze, but to Negi and Asuna, it was a split second hurricane. Negi flew back and slammed into Asuna, the light from Negi's staff engulfed the three. The spell was complete.
Negi and Asuna then both got up and looked up at Konoka.
"...It didn't work..." Negi sighed.
"Negi-bozu!" Asuna said, hitting him on the head, "I knew this was a bad idea! It didn't even work. Now we got to hide Konoka somewhere!"
"But Asuna-san-"
"Negi-kun," Konoka interrupted, "It worked."
"What do you mean? You're still enormous", Negi noted.
"Uhh, look around Negi-kun..." Konoka said as she pointed to all the nearby scenario with her hands.
Negi and Asuna both looked around; it worked alright. All of Mahora was large! Even the dirt on the walkways were larger.
"Eh heh heh..." Asuna laughed very softly. She sat down in a veetle position. "Negi, please turn us back now..."
"Asuna-san, are you alright?" Negi asked.
Asuna went wide eyed, still laughing awkwardly. Obviously, Asuna was freaked out.
"Konoka-san, please stand back! I'm going to undo this spell on me and Asuna-san!"
Konoka took five large steps back. Negi held out his staff and chanted "Incresco Tantus!" again. However, nothing happened.
"Eh? Maybe I did something wrong?"
Negi took out his book and went back to the growth spell. He read down the description of the spell, and saw the one line that made his heart sink.
This spell may only be used once in a twenty-four hour period.
"Negi, why didn't it work?!" Asuna asked, still a little scared by the size change.
"I can't do it again until 9am tomorrow," Negi replied hesitantly.
"EEHH!!!" Asuna screamed. She stood tall, hovering over Negi with her hair sticking straight into the air. "You idiot! Isn't that something you oughta know before you test out these new spells?!"
Negi just sighed, and fell down.
"What are we supposed to do in the meantime?" Asuna asked.
The ground shook, and a shadow loomed over the two as Konoka walked back over, and bent down.
"Why are you two still small," the confused "giantess" asked.
"There's a 24 hour waiting period. That's why!" Asuna yelled up at her.
Konoka's face then bloomed a smile as she picked both of her friends up. Where does she take them?
