In all truth, putting the city on a canid just wasn't going to work. Undoubtedly the foxes, wolves, and dogs would all get arrested and searched. The village was only a speck but better safe than sorry ruled the day, especially given how easily such a tiny thing could be damaged and destroyed. Flex one wrong muscle and the little civilization would end up a splat on a shirt.
As the group prepared to move and conceal the village, they noticed something: tiny, but bigger than the village, creatures. A quick examination revealed that some people had been just a bit too close and wound up shrunken. Oddly, it wasn't everyone in close proximity to the little speck. Four or five small, but not infiniteismal creatures were around the speck.
Quickly, a plan was formed, mostly through gestures and magnifying glasses. Two teenage lynx's provided transportation, twins a guy and a girl. Their massive feet sat right at the around around the speck and below, the five not-quite micro creatures divided the city and in two groups headed to a giant. Two wolf guys going to the girl lost any ego they'd ever had when they looked up to see that the furry wall eclipsed the sun.
For the little creatures, it was difficult and messy work. These barefoot giants were a mess with mud and dirt and being smaller than fleas meant that the only way through was to go around. On the giant boy it was especially bad, he made kid-quakes every-second, unable to sit completely still.
Of course, it was worst on the villages, being carried by one giant, onto another giant, and of course all the while work continued to get the shrink-ray turned into a growth ray. It could only really be a source of trouble.
At last, the tiny creatures had themselves in some sort of position where they would be able to hold out. They were still on gigantic feet, but it was among the safer places, given that people usually didn't touch other's paws and it was safer if for some reason the giant's had to be abandoned. The only question now was wether to run or wait on the military...
