Only hours after the news of the rings in Springfield, a portal began to open in the woods and a figure stepped out. The figure walked away as the portal disappeared. The humanoid shape was covered in shadow so description was impossible. However, there was a golden ring attached to one of the figure's fingers. It continued to walk until it reached a cliff revealing the horizon of the town of Springfield. As it stared into the nuclear power plant of Mr. Burns, it began to think. "I know that place very well. A year after the whole ring search began, Mr. Burns possessed them all and turned the whole world into a dark empire. Luckily, years after survival and training, I was able to steal one of the rings from Mr. Burns and used it to come here. Well, Burns, you may have won in that reality, but I will prevent that from ever happening. I will collect all the rings, form the Ring of Unlimited Wishes, and use to stop you and bring peace to the world for I am Maggie Simpson."
